Family Services
HYC’s Family Services programs offer children and caregivers counseling, education, individualized case management, and linkage to comprehensive community resources to improve family functioning, strengthen the family system, reduce child abuse and neglect, increase child safety, and build protective factors within families.
HYC’s Family Resource Center, located at our Liberty Plaza headquarters, provides families with essential household items including diapers, hygiene supplies, formula, school supplies, and resource information for community services. Family Services programs are offered at our offices, in-home, and community locations.

"I see this building every morning on the way to work and every evening on my way home, and not a day goes by that I am not grateful for the women that attend the groups and the counselors that run them. To an outsider, you may not understand the amount of strength it takes to pick yourself up and attend these groups. On the days you wish the ground could swallow you up because you crave peace when you're trying to put yourself together while at the same time everything is falling apart. These groups are a haven."
